Take the reference set with you.
The reference set does not change between reviews, and the water you fish is usually where the signal is not. This application already keeps the pages you have opened. The trouble is that the page you need on a bank is usually one you have never opened — the entry for the thing on your hand right now — so there is a control for downloading the lot, and it is a control rather than something done quietly on your behalf.

The pages you open are kept anyway. This stores the ones you have not opened — every reviewed entry, the seasonality read, the patterns and the dossiers — so the entry you need on the bank is the one you have never looked at. It is a few hundred kilobytes and it happens only when you press this.
The evidence page is deliberately not in this. It is the heaviest document here and it is a desk page — checking where a claim came from is something you do sitting down, with a browser, not standing in a river. Your observations and your log are not in it either: they live in this browser’s own storage, which the offline copy cannot reach.
Why there is no location field
A log of what, not where.
Spot-burning is a real cost and a log with coordinates in it is one screenshot away from being public. This log records what you saw and what the comparison said, and deliberately gives you nowhere to put a pin. If you want to note water character — a tailwater, a spring creek, a freestone riffle — the note field is there for that.
